Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES/DC , 21 OR OVER.

 

1)     Sweepstakes Timing: The Game Day Getaway Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) December 30, 2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on February 9, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  

 

2)     Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 21 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever (the “Sponsor”), their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, including Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (the “Administrator”), and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

 

3)     How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, you may visit mayogamedaygetaway.com (the “Website”) and complete the online registration form to receive one (1) entry (the “Entry”) into the random drawing. The Sweepstakes/Website will be branded Hellmann’s for consumers located east of the Rockies and Best Foods for consumers located west of the Rockies, but will only award one (1) Grand Prize, as described below. Limit one (1) Entry per person per day. Use of any automated or computer system to participate online is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Normal Internet/phone access and data/usage charges imposed by your online/phone service may apply.  

 

4)     Random Drawing: On or about February 12, 2025, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions, along with Sponsor’s are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received.

 

5)     Grand Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): Grand Prize (1 total, regardless if Website was branded for Hellmann’s or Best Foods): A 4-day/3-night trip for winner and up to five (5) travel companions to a destination mutually agreed upon between Sponsor and Grand Prize winner, on or about dates surrounding February 6, 2026 through February 9, 2026. Trip includes round-trip economy air transportation for winner and travel companions from major airport nearest winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion), three (3) nights’ rental house accommodations (“Rental House”), ground transportation from/to airport, Sponsor-selected ground transportation in destination city, a $1,000 check made payable to the winner to be used towards catering at the Rental House, and a $4,500 check made payable to the Grand Prize winner to be used towards the payment of income taxes associated with Grand Prize (ARV: $19,850).

 

All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning the Grand Prize or any Grand Prize component furnished in connection with the Sweepstakes.   Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize or Grand Prize component of equal or greater value. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH GRAND PRIZE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

 

6)     Grand Prize Rules: Grand Prize winner’s travel companions must be at least 21 years or older at time of travel (unless child/charge of Grand Prize winner) and additional age requirements may apply to House Rental. Grand Prize winner’s travel companions must also execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to travel. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions must agree to adhere to all Rental House property rules while on premises and may be required to sign additional documents agreeing to such rules prior to travel. Any damage made to the Rental House and/or Rental House property during the winner’s stay is the sole responsibility of the winner, and the winner agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Sponsor harmless from any such damage. The $4,500 check will not be awarded until after the Grand Prize trip is complete and Administrator and/or Sponsor reserve the right to withhold the cost of any damage done to the property from the Grand Prize winner’s prize check(s), if applicable and the Grand Prize winner agrees to same. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions are solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to meals, surcharges, service charges, personal charges, taxes, travel and other insurance, additional transportation, gratuities, souvenirs, and other incidentals and items of a personal nature. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, mutilated or stolen travel documents. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions must travel on same itinerary and must agree to depart and return on dates specified by Sponsor, which are subject to change, or Grand Prize will be forfeited. Travel is subject to availability. If the Grand Prize winner is unable to travel on dates specified, Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received. Grand Prize is subject to additional restrictions, including those based on Sponsor-specified Rental House accommodations. In the event the Grand Prize winner lives within one-hundred fifty (150) miles of destination city, round-trip ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation will be provided. All travelers must have valid travel documents prior to departure (i.e., REAL ID, passport or other TSA-approved ID; visit www.tsa.gov for a list of TSA-approved IDs). All travelers must follow any applicable COVID protocols that may be in place at time of travel. In the event Grand Prize winner or his/her travel companions engage in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip early, in whole or in part, and send the Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions, home with no further compensation to the winner. In the event the Grand Prize winner or his/her travel companions consume alcoholic beverages (none will be provided by Sponsor) while participating in any Grand Prize-related activities, they do so at their own discretion and agree to hold the Released Parties (defined below) harmless from any subsequent damages or third-party claims arising out of or related to such consumption. Grand Prize consists of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize in these Official Rules and prize details not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor.

 

7)     General Rules: Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to electronically sign and return, a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law), within forty-eight (48) hours of notification attempt or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected. Return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and alternate selection. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor and their agencies and Administrator are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Website or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Website or Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the Entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor, and/or Administrator (as identified in these Official Rules) are not responsible for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by Sponsor/Administrator on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or Website may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or Website, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the Sweepstakes and select the winner at random from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. By entering the Sweepstakes, you hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.

 

8)     Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, the Entrant agrees that Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”), will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by Entrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Grand Prize or parts thereof, if applicable or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes or related activity. Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

 

9)     Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW JERSEY. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE & FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN NEW YORK.

 

10)  Entrants’ Personal Information: Information collected from Entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, located at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/usa-english.html.

 

11)  Winner: For the name of the winner, available for ninety (90) days after February 12, 2025, send an email to: Winners@dja.com with “Game Day Getaway Sweepstakes” as the subject line.
